The Change-Personal Narrative The New Year filled me with the desire to pursue new adventures. Like most people, I became consumed in the January resolution ritual of making promises of changing my life, but retreating from them as March approaches. But I decided to carry through with my commitments this year. Three of my closest friends and I decided to challenge ourselves after days of relaxation in the safety and shelter of civilization and to return to the isolation of the wilderness. Despite the nobility of our quest we were forced to bring along miniature symbols of the world we were leaving for basic survival such as a propane stove, expensive sleeping bags, and two light weight tents. The sun had just climbed over the first huge hill and its brilliant rays shone upon us as we set off on our journey. Nearby, a river flowed with ice chunks, i ts banks heavily swollen with snow. The day seemed to have cleared up for us. God had swept away the clouds and light snow showers and delivered an unexpectedly mild climate. We began our journey to the top of the first revine of earth with tremendous excitement and eagerness-- unbeknown to us the difficulties that would beset our tired and out of shape bodies. Off the beaten trail we encountered one of the most spectacular scenes of nature Ive ever seen. A lake in the distance was a mere pond, houses were small pellets of wood, and the nearest city was dwarfed in comparison to the vast acres of woods. Alone, atop a snowy almost like mountain, we each stood on the edge and absorbed the awesome sight before us. I had evolved from the same primordial soup as the landscape I saw before me, but now I felt like a stranger just passing through an exotic terrain. Continuing over peaks and valleys for hours we continued on, hopeful of reaching the midway point before the dangers of dusk cov ered us in a thick blanket of darkness. I have a twelve-year-old son who over the past few years has exhibited signs of what one might diagnose as ADHD if he were examined at a particular point, in a particular classroom, with a particular teacher. In other situations, he is completely able to focus on his tasks and has no problem whatsoever with comprehension and understanding the material he is supposed to learn and in in fact mastering that material. He had an assessment known as an APP done in the second grade and it was determined that he was not a child with ADHD. It has been five years since the second grade and his evaluation and I have had certain teachers mention subsequently that he shows signs of ADHD. My son is now in middle school and has friends that have been diagnosed with ADHD at a â€Å"drop of a hat†. Quality management plan To manage the quality of proposed plan, the Total quality management approach can be helpful. As per this approach, the manager can make comparisons between performances to identify the differences and rectify it. Thus, for this purpose, standard criteria for performance level can be set and the actual performance can be compared with it. This will show the deviation if any, between both performances, hence, corrective actions can be taken for making improvements (Kerzner, 2013). Here, to resolve issues related to quality can be solved through proper application of tools and techniques. Besides this, the planning must be done effectively by setting budget which should not be disturbed. The present project is completed on time and delivered successfully on stipulated time period. Besides this, the scope of project to install system for handling issue of manually operated rosters has been achieved appropriately (Lee Yong, 2010). Budget and Quality: It is essential that project does not exceed the determined budget. The present project is accomplished as per the set budget and quality is maintained by making corrections in the actual performance as compared to the standard performance. Conclusion The current project has focussed on developing an automated system for managing the roster of Globex Company at the time of exhibition of RALS. On this basis, a project is undertaken to develop the system so that chaos can be avoided. The project has been accomplished by carrying out possible risks so that progress of project cannot be delayed.
